Liv Village

For 8 years Panda has been donating art supplies to LIV Village as well as teaching the students to embrace art and creativity. 

Neema Foundation

Every week Panda runs Teacher Art Education workshops for the teachers from the Neema Foundations community schools.  

Uzwelo

Panda has partnered with Uzwelo as part of Panda's going green initiative. Panda will be using Uzwelo's art bags and aprons made out of recycled materials.

Panda Paints was started in 1977.

1987

DEBORAH MORGAN

Deborah Morgan bought Panda Paints as a fledgling business in 1987 (it had 2 products-powder paint and glue) which she ran over the weekends. She started with 6 customers and a monthly turnover of R300.

1987

FAMILY BUSINES

Deborah's Husband Bruce joined the team as a degreed Industrial Chemist. An integral part of our success, Bruce assists in the design and formulation of of Panda Products in house. We have him to thank for our wide variety of in house, ALWAYS NON-TOXIC formulations over the last 32 years.

1992

ALL IN

In 1992 Deborah made the bold decision to leave the corporate world and take on Panda Paints full time.

2013

SARAH MORGAN

The daughter of Bruce & Debbie she has been at Panda since it was only a small home run business. Many fond memories of packing art kits during the school holiday are cherished by her.

Today, she heads up the sales team at Panda Paints, as well as the marketing division.

2022

TEACHER WORKSHOPS

In 2022 we started teaching workshops at various schools throughout South Africa.

This has been a wonderful way for educators to get to know our products, as well as introduce exciting new project ideas .into South African school classrooms

As a family run corporation since 1987 we are so proud of the business we have grown and the non-negotiables we have not wavered. Many of the staff having worked for us for over 15 years, and this team feels really is more of a family than anything else.

32 years later we have branches nationwide, over 2500 customers, 92 NON-TOXIC products that we manufacture ourselves and hundreds of imported lines.
